Anthropic launches Claude Corps, a national fellowship program for early-career individuals to promote AI benefits across U.S. communities.

At least 400 nonprofits will host fellows, including organizations like Braven, Code the Dream, Montgomery County Food Bank, and Team Red, White & Blue.
Applications for fellows and host organizations are open, with the first cohort of 100 starting in October 2026 and rolling admissions for later cohorts.
The program aims to scale beyond 1,000 fellows, with plans to open-source technology, replicate the model internationally, and measure impact rigorously.
