  • Dupilumab, targeting IL-4 and IL-13, is used for asthma, eczema, and eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE).
  • A retrospective study compared 69 pregnancies with dupilumab exposure to matched controls.
  • No significant difference in overall pregnancy complication rates was found (69.6% vs 65.2%; p=0.5861).
  • Adjusted analysis also showed no significant risk increase (OR 1.131, 95% CI 0.505-2.533; p=0.7650).
  • Complications included gestational diabetes, hypertension, preeclampsia, C-sections, and spontaneous abortion (SAB).
  • SAB was slightly higher in dupilumab group (14.0% vs 5.8%) but within general population rates (10-15%).
  • The study supports dupilumab's relative safety during pregnancy, but larger prospective studies are needed.
