The rocket became supersonic, causing visible bow-shaped shockwaves that refract sunlight, and turbulence from exhaust.
The mission successfully delivered 29 Starlink satellites to low Earth orbit without damage.
The Sun also displayed sunspots in the image.
The image was taken from Cape Canaveral, Florida, with credit to astronomers Robert Nemiroff and Jerry Bonnell.
