- Specific high-risk patient profiles, such as a 40-49-year-old with late-onset eosinophilic asthma on medium-dose ICS and recurrent infections, faced a 30.4% five-year risk of progression.
- Early recognition of high-risk profiles may help, but further research is needed to determine if it can modify progression risk.
