- ERAS group showed significantly shorter hospital stays (5.0 vs 8.0 days postoperatively, 9.0 vs 13.0 days total) and faster recovery indicators (first ambulation, flatus, oral intake, chest tube removal).
- Lower complication rates were observed in the ERAS group (15.4% vs 36.5% overall, 9.6% vs 25.0% pulmonary complications).
- ERAS patients reported less postoperative pain, lower nausea and vomiting incidence, higher satisfaction, and better early postoperative quality of life.
- Subgroup and sensitivity analyses confirmed the robustness of the ERAS pathway benefits in lung cancer surgery recovery.
