Members-only Philly cop bar has been linked to two DUIs and a third crash

Off-duty Philadelphia Police Officer Gregory Campbell crashed into the Wakemans' home after drinking at the 7C Lounge, a members-only bar for cops, leading to severe injuries and the death of their dogs.
Campbell's blood-alcohol level was nearly three times the legal limit, yet he was allowed to delay testing for six hours with FOP representatives present, violating Pennsylvania law.
The 7C Lounge, operated by the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 5, has been linked to multiple DUIs, including another crash involving ex-cop Damien Walto, but faced no regulatory repercussions.
Anna Wakeman suffered life-altering injuries, including a traumatic brain injury, and the family lost their home. The Wakemans settled a lawsuit against the FOP under Pennsylvania’s Dram Shop Law.
Surveillance footage revealed another unreported 2021 incident where a patron left the 7C Lounge impaired and caused a parking lot crash, but it was never reported to authorities.
Experts criticized the lack of accountability for the FOP’s bar, citing conflicts of interest and loopholes allowing police-affiliated establishments to avoid liquor law enforcement.
