- Fat mass decreased notably (-11.34 kg) with relative preservation of lean mass (+0.87 kg), while improvements were seen in glycemic control (HbA1c -0.59%) and insulin resistance (HOMA-IR -0.52).
- Inflammatory markers (C-reactive protein -1.48 mg/L) and liver enzymes improved, alongside reductions in sleep-disordered breathing (apnea-hypopnea index -6.64 events/h).
