Tesla Financial Services, as the registered keeper of leased vehicles, is responsible for identifying drivers involved in traffic offenses.
In one case, a Tesla driver was caught speeding at 80mph, but the company failed to identify the driver, leading to a £1,000 fine.
Another case involved a Tesla driver caught speeding at nearly 100mph, but due to unanswered police letters, the company was fined instead.
Unanswered police letters were sent to Tesla offices in London and Manchester.
The cases were handled under the single justice procedure for minor offenses.
