- First-in-human study uses FAP-targeted cyclic peptide 3BP-3940 labeled with 177Lu, 90Y, and 225Ac for radiopharmaceutical therapy (FRT) in advanced cancer.
- 88 patients with 21 different metastatic solid tumors received 227 cycles of therapy after confirming tumor uptake via PET/CT, with treatments well-tolerated and mild adverse events.
- Dosimetry showed favorable biodistribution with low renal accumulation and high tumor-to-background ratios, with tumor absorbed doses significantly higher than normal tissues.
- Objective response rate was 66.7%, disease control rate 80.4%, and median overall survival was 7.0 months from FRT initiation.
- Therapy demonstrated promising survival benefits in aggressive, pretreated cancers, warranting further prospective randomized studies.
