  • A case report describes successful treatment with mosunetuzumab for rituximab-refractory lymphoma-associated protein-losing enteropathy (PLE) and immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) in follicular lymphoma.
  • The patient, a 51-year-old man, had severe hypoalbuminemia, ascites, thrombocytopenia, and lymphadenopathy; initial treatments with rituximab and rituximab plus lenalidomide provided only transient responses.
  • Mosunetuzumab as third-line therapy increased serum albumin from 0.7 g/dL to ~2.0 g/dL, improved ascites and edema, normalized and then increased platelet counts to 300,000-500,000/µL, achieving complete remission maintained for over four months.
  • The findings suggest mosunetuzumab may effectively control lymphoma-associated PLE and immune-mediated cytopenia via deeper, sustained B-cell depletion.
