Report claims that Apple has yet again put the Mac Pro "on the back burner"

Apple's Mac Pro has seen only four hardware updates in the last 15 years.
The Mac Pro received an M2 Ultra processor in mid-2023, one of the last Macs to switch from Intel to Apple Silicon.
Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reports that Apple is focusing on a new Mac Studio for the M5 Ultra chip, suggesting the Mac Pro won’t be significantly updated in 2026.
Apple has largely deprioritized the Mac Pro, as indicated by its use of the M2 Ultra instead of the newer M3 Ultra.
Other Apple desktops like the iMac, Mac mini, and Mac Studio have skipped a silicon generation since the M1's release in 2020.
