Firefox Has Integrated Brave's Adblock Engine

Firefox 149 includes Brave's adblock-rust engine, an open-source ad and tracker blocker written in Rust.
The engine is disabled by default with no user interface or filter lists; it was added via a bug report for a prototype rich content blocking engine.
To test adblock-rust, users must disable Enhanced Tracking Protection and modify about:config settings to enable it and add filter lists like EasyList and EasyPrivacy.
Waterfox, a Firefox fork, has adopted adblock-rust based on Firefox's implementation.
When active, adblock-rust blocks ad content while leaving ad slots visible, as demonstrated on sites like Yahoo.
