Apple has delayed the release of its AI-powered Siri, initially promised in 2024.
The new Siri was expected in iOS 26.4 in March but is now postponed, with some features delayed until May or even iOS 27 in September.
The delay is due to issues encountered during software testing.
The upgraded Siri aims to function more like LLM chatbots, such as ChatGPT or Claude, but integrated directly into Apple devices via Google Gemini.
