- Development of zinc-doped Salvia miltiorrhiza-derived carbon dots (Zn-SaCDs) encapsulated in apoptotic bodies (Zn-SaCDs@Ap) for targeted HCC therapy.
- Zn-SaCDs@Ap inhibits stemness and invasive potential, triggers apoptosis in HCC cells, and effectively reduces tumor growth in mouse models.
- Induces PANoptosis (apoptosis, pyroptosis, necroptosis) in HCC cells via activation of C2H2 zinc finger transcription factors (KLF7, SALL4, SNAI2, ZNF516).
- Transcriptome analysis shows upregulated PANoptosis-related proteins (AIM2, NAIP), suggesting a novel therapeutic mechanism for HCC.
