OpenAI CEO Sam Altman's home was targeted in a second attack early Sunday, two days after a previous Molotov cocktail incident.
According to SFPD, a Honda sedan with two occupants stopped near Altman's property; the passenger allegedly fired a round from the car window, with security hearing a gunshot.
The vehicle fled, but its license plate was captured on surveillance, leading police to seize it; no arrests have been made.
In the earlier Friday attack, 20-year-old Daniel Alejandro Moreno-Gama allegedly threw a flaming bottle at the property's gate on Chestnut Street.
Security guards extinguished the fire, and footage led to identifying a suspect who made threats at OpenAI's headquarters, resulting in his arrest.
Moreno-Gama faces charges including attempted murder, arson, and possession of an incendiary device, with no injuries reported in either incident.
OpenAI, SFPD, and Open have not commented, and the story is still developing.
