You must say 'Shotgun' clearly and loud enough for others to hear to claim the front seat.
Shotgun can only be called after the 'Deed' is done and you are outside, with shoes on.
If rules are broken, like calling indoors or without shoes, privileges may be voided.
Shotgun applies for one ride to a final destination, then must be reclaimed.
Ancillary rules include specifying the car in multi-vehicle trips and using Rock, Paper, Scissors, Lizard, Spock for disputes.
Exceptions grant automatic Shotgun to moms, significant others (if known), car owners, and tall riders, with divided privileges on long trips.
