Precious Plastic Is in Trouble

Precious Plastic has made significant global impact with 1100 organizations in 56 countries recycling 1.4M kg of plastic, generating $3.7M revenue, employing 530 people, and building 1175 machines.
The project operates in 'Versions' due to financial constraints, releasing updates periodically but struggling to sustain continuous development.
Current problems include: no workspace due to chemical contamination, lack of a sustainable business model, an ongoing costly lawsuit in New York, underestimated software development for the community platform, challenges with the Open Source community not contributing back, poor financial design, and no long-term team stability.
The organization is currently run by 3 full-time members with quarterly costs of €30K and only 6 months of financial runway left.
Two potential futures are considered: letting Precious Plastic die or pushing it to the next level with Version 5, which would require significant community support and resources.
The community is asked to help by showing support, raising funds, subscribing to the YouTube channel, donating, joining Patreon, buying/selling on the Bazar, providing legal assistance, contributing to the software, locating grants, or making large donations.
The goal is to triple the impact of small-scale plastic recycling globally with Version 5, requiring a budget of €2.1M over three years.
