- The CONFIDENCE study assessed consistency of response to rimegepant for acute migraine treatment in real-world users.
- Participants included 416 adults with 3–14 headache days per month, with 91% female, 90% White, and 84% on preventive therapies.
- Outcomes measured were meaningful pain relief (MPR), meaningful improvement in function (MIF) within 2 hours, and treatment satisfaction.
- Across 2169 attacks, 61% achieved MPR, 58% MIF, and 68% treatment satisfaction.
- Among participants with ≥3 attacks, 65% achieved MPR in ≥2 of first 3 attacks, 60% for MIF, and 74% for satisfaction.
- Consistency was also observed in ≥3 of first 4 attacks for 55% (MPR), 48% (MIF), and 66% (satisfaction).
- The study concludes that rimegepant shows consistent positive outcomes at both population and individual levels in real-world settings.
