Instagram public accounts with less than 1,000 followers can no longer go live.
Meta introduced a new eligibility requirement for Live broadcasts.
The change aims to improve the overall experience for creators and users.
Private accounts are also affected, but the rollout is currently focused on public accounts.
The feature allowing livestreams for up to three close friends may be discontinued.
