Samsung 870 QVO 4TB SATA SSDs have been used for 4 years in a home server and as a backup drive.
The drives were manufactured in 2021, with two in April and two in June.
Performance remains strong, with write speeds dropping only to 140-170 MB/s during heavy workloads.
One drive reported 4 bad blocks, despite having the least power-on hours.
SSD lifetime is around 94%, with over 170 TB written, well below the 1440 TBW endurance limit.
Prices have decreased from 400 EUR to 270 EUR, but not as much as expected compared to other SSDs starting at 190-200 EUR.
