- Upadacitinib 15 mg and 30 mg showed significantly higher efficacy than placebo in treating head and neck atopic dermatitis, with 46.8% and 58.0% achieving head and neck EASI ≤ 0.3 at week 16, respectively, compared to 13.5% for placebo.
- Patients on upadacitinib achieved substantial skin clearance, with median percentage reductions in total head and neck EASI of 87.8% for 15 mg and 96.3% for 30 mg by week 16, and improvements were consistent across severity subgroups.
- The treatment also enhanced patient-reported outcomes, demonstrating benefits in quality of life and symptom management, including itch, for individuals with moderate to severe baseline involvement.
