Oliceridine significantly reduced the incidence of postoperative nausea and vomiting (PONV) within 48 hours after modified radical mastectomy compared to sufentanil (20.5% vs. 39.8%).
PONV severity at 48 hours and incidence within 24 hours were also lower with oliceridine, while analgesic efficacy (VAS scores and rescue analgesia) was similar between groups.
Hemodynamic profiles and cardiovascular adverse events were comparable, though oliceridine showed fewer hypotensive and bradycardic episodes numerically, indicating a favorable safety profile.
