Only one Porsche 912 police car from Kanagawa Prefecture survived after service until 1973.
This Porsche 912 served on expressways for five years, covering over 155,000km and stopping a speeder at 178 km/h.
After engine failure, it was displayed at a police academy for 26 years before deteriorating and being sold to a scrapyard.
It was recovered after six months of negotiations and restored.
