BYD is now upgrading some of its top selling EVs with 5-min flash charging

BYD introduced its Flash Charging system, enabling EV charging from 10% to 70% in 5 minutes and up to 97% in 9 minutes, even in cold temperatures.
The system debuted in luxury models like the Denza Z9 GT and Yangwang U7, and is now expanding to popular models such as the Yuan Plus (Atto 3).
The updated Yuan Plus features new Blade Batteries with capacities of 57.545 kWh or 68.547 kWh, offering ranges up to 630 km, and includes motor upgrades up to 322 hp.
BYD aims to counter slowing sales in China by leveraging faster charging, longer range, and enhanced features to attract buyers globally.
