Proof of Concept to Test Humanoid Robots

Humanoid and Siemens completed a proof of concept (POC) for humanoid robots in industrial logistics.
The POC involved the HMND 01 wheeled Alpha robot performing tote-to-conveyor destacking tasks autonomously.
Two phases were conducted: in-house development and a two-week on-site deployment at Siemens' Electronics Factory in Erlangen.
Performance metrics included 60 tote moves per hour, 30+ minutes of continuous operation, and 90%+ success rates.
The POC marks the start of a long-term collaboration, with potential for broader deployment across Siemens' facilities.
Humanoid focuses on commercially viable robots, while Siemens sees opportunities for automation in production.
