Nintendo won a $2 million lawsuit against Modded Hardware, a website selling Switch modding devices.
The court ordered the website to shut down and forfeit its domain to Nintendo.
Ryan Daly, the defendant, is permanently banned from involvement with any devices that bypass Nintendo's protections.
The MIG Switch flashcart, sold by Modded Hardware, was primarily used for pirating Nintendo Switch games.
Nintendo has a history of legal action against piracy, including a $2.4 million settlement with the Yuzu emulator team in 2023.
