- Dermoid cysts (DCs) are rare congenital intracranial tumors; combined extracranial and intracranial localization is extremely rare.
- A case of a 49-year-old female with a left temporo-parietal extradural and intradural DC presented with signs of increased intracranial pressure.
- Surgical resection via wide left temporo-parietal craniotomy was successful, with histopathology confirming DC and postoperative symptom improvement.
- Total radical resection is recommended for DCs to prevent serious complications, despite their benign nature, as they can occur widely in intracranial and extracranial spaces.
