- Shenfu Decoction (SFD) attenuates radiation-induced heart disease (RIHD) by improving cardiac function, reducing inflammation, and alleviating hypertrophy and fibrosis in mouse models.
- Kaempferol (KAE), an active compound in SFD, binds to P53 and STAT1, modulating the P53/MDM2-STAT1-BATF2 signaling pathway to inhibit apoptosis, inflammation, and cell cycle arrest.
- The protective effects of SFD and KAE involve interference with P53-MDM2 interaction and STAT1-driven transcription, suggesting a therapeutic strategy for RIHD.
