Printing blog posts enhances the reading experience by allowing highlighting, margin notes, and dog-earing.
The project involves creating printable digests of several blogs, starting with Paul Graham's essays, using a Knapsack problem approach to select posts based on word count and value.
For selection, automation was attempted with Google page rank and author recommendations, but manual curation or language model suggestions were used for other blogs due to limitations.
Printing and binding were done with a home printer and stapler, resulting in readable booklets, with adjustments for formatting and cover images for each blog.
The project highlights the underappreciation of blogs without physical representations and aims to give ideas more weight through print.
