- JetBrains is discontinuing Aqua, its IDE for test automation, due to low adoption.
- Aqua's features will be integrated into the Test Automation plugin for other JetBrains IDEs like IntelliJ IDEA Ultimate and PyCharm.
- Current Aqua users can continue using version 2024.3, but no further updates will be provided beyond critical fixes.
- Commercial license holders will receive an All Products Pack license for the remainder of their term, while non-commercial users can opt for a WebStorm license or a discount on an All Products Pack subscription.
- OpenAI is reportedly in talks to acquire Windsurf (formerly Codeium) for around $3 billion, marking its largest acquisition to date.
