- Long-term outcomes (≥10 years) of hip arthroscopy in acetabular dysplasia patients show statistically significant improvement in most patient-reported outcomes (PROs), including Modified Harris Hip Score (mHHS).
- Revision surgery rates ranged from 2.6% to 15.2%, and conversion to total hip arthroplasty (THA) ranged from 2.6% to 23.7%, comparable to nondysplasia groups.
- The Tönnis angle is the most common predictor of failure, with acetabular dysplasia groups possibly having inferior patient-reported outcomes in some measures compared to nondysplasia patients.
