Connected features will be disabled, but basic thermostat functions will remain.
No Google upgrade options for European users; the only European model is being discontinued.
North American models predate Google's 2014 acquisition of Nest.
Original Learning Thermostat launched in 2011, second-gen in 2012, and European model in 2014.
Post-October 2025, devices won't receive updates or connect to Google's cloud services.
