- Course 15.393 - Nuts and Bolts of New Ventures explores preparing a New Venture Plan and launching the venture.
- Open to the M.I.T. community and others interested in entrepreneurship, especially those starting or involved in a new business.
- Recommended for participants in the MIT $100K Entrepreneurship Competition, as some speakers are competition judges.
- Pre-registration required for credit or to listen. Past enrollment includes 50% from MIT Engineering, Science, and Architecture, and 50% from Sloan School of Management.
- Topics applicable to for-profit, social, and development ventures. Open to non-MIT participants on a space-available basis.
- Typically has around 150 MIT students and 100-150 additional participants from other colleges, businesses, non-profits, and government organizations.
