  • Invented around 1916 by John Lloyd Wright, son of architect Frank Lloyd Wright.
  • Named after Abraham Lincoln, who lived in a log cabin.
  • Originally made of redwood, later included plastic sets, but reverted to wood.
  • Design based on the interlocking log beams of the Imperial Hotel in Tokyo.
