Zigtools was founded to support the Zig community with editor tooling like ZLS, lsp-kit, and the Zigtools Playground.
Zigbook, a Zig resource, was released claiming 'zero AI' but was found to be largely AI-generated and plagiarized.
Zigbook copied Zigtools Playground's WASM blobs and JavaScript code without complying with the MIT license.
Zigtools sent a PR to correct the license violations, but Zigbook closed it and deleted the description.
Zigtools advises the Zig community to avoid Zigbook and recommends official learning resources.
Zigtools is fundraising to support ZLS's full-time maintainer and plans to enhance the Zigtools Playground.
