A project to replicate Windows XP experience on XFCE/Linux, including themes, icons, cursors, and programs.
Not intended for easing non-technical users into Linux; aimed at enthusiasts.
No attempt to hide Linux base; 'Windows XP on Linux kernel' approach.
Massively under construction by a single developer; requests for perfection discouraged.
Motivation: Loss of support for Luna theme on Windows 7/10, leading to Linux switch.
Aims for pixel-perfect replication, beyond what themes alone can achieve.
GTK3 themes may appear broken in some programs; issues should be reported to the project.
Theme based on Adwaita for better compatibility and easier bug fixes.
Source code licensed under GPL 2.0; Microsoft assets remain copyrighted.
No formal roadmap; goal is to replicate all aspects of Windows XP.
Future plans include a user-friendly setup application and possibly an OOBE for nostalgia.
