- KIM-1 and circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) are prognostic markers for oligometastatic clear-cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC).
- High KIM-1 levels at baseline, end of radiation therapy, and 3-month follow-up were associated with shorter systemic therapy-free survival (STFS).
- Both KIM-1 and ctDNA were independently associated with STFS in multivariable analysis.
- A prognostic model (K-COMPASS) combining clinical variables, baseline KIM-1, and ctDNA showed favorable discrimination and calibration.
- The study highlights the potential of KIM-1 and ctDNA in improving clinical decision-making for oligometastatic ccRCC.
