A married couple from Kazakhstan allegedly won over $1 million from Sydney’s Crown casino using hidden technology.
They used a tiny camera in a Mickey Mouse T-shirt and deep-seated earpieces to communicate and cheat.
The couple was arrested and charged with dishonestly obtaining financial advantage.
Police found magnetised probes, batteries, and a modified mobile phone used to capture images of casino tables.
The couple visited the casino multiple times, winning $1.18 million, which raised suspicions.
Officers also seized a custom-made mirror attachment for the phone and other gambling props.
The couple had traveled from Kazakhstan in October 2025 and applied for Crown memberships upon arrival.
Police and casino security collaborated to detect and prevent the criminal activity.
