  • In Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma (DLBCL), both malignant and non-malignant cells in the tumor microenvironment secrete extracellular vesicles (EVs) into circulation, which are potential liquid biopsy biomarkers.
  • DLBCL cells in culture produce significantly more small EVs (50-200 nm) than large EVs (200-1000 nm), but patient plasma contains comparable concentrations of both sizes, suggesting different cellular origins.
  • Deconvolution analysis using single-cell sequencing data revealed that circulating small EVs primarily originate from malignant cells, while large EVs predominantly come from tumor microenvironment cells like macrophages, T cells, and natural killer cells.
