Carr is now pushing for a vote to reverse the FCC's COVID-era spending decisions, citing concerns over unsupervised screen time for kids.
Cruz claims the Biden FCC hotspot program endangered kids, duplicated existing funding, and violated the law.
Carr's action would end the program but wouldn't prevent a future FCC chair from reviving it, while Cruz seeks a House vote to permanently block it.
Cruz urges the House to pass his Congressional Review Act resolution to prevent similar rules in the future.
