- Study assessed allergic manifestations in 220 adult patients with inborn errors of immunity (IEI).
- Antibody deficiencies were most common (85.9%).
- Allergic rhinitis was the most frequent allergic manifestation (21.8%), followed by asthma (15.9%), atopic dermatitis (12.3%), and drug hypersensitivity (10.9%).
- Food allergy was rare (0.9%), and no venom allergy was identified.
- Bronchiectasis was more frequent in patients with asthma (28.6%) compared to those without (14.4%).
- Asthma was more prevalent in patients receiving prophylactic antibiotics (34.1% vs. 11.7%).
- Immediate-type drug hypersensitivity reactions predominated (78.6%), with urticaria and anaphylaxis being most common (21.4% each).
- 62% of patients with allergic disease were diagnosed with allergy before IEI.
- Adult-onset asthma was associated with a higher age at IEI diagnosis.
- Aeroallergen sensitization was linked to higher B cell subset counts.
