  • Study assessed allergic manifestations in 220 adult patients with inborn errors of immunity (IEI).
  • Antibody deficiencies were most common (85.9%).
  • Allergic rhinitis was the most frequent allergic manifestation (21.8%), followed by asthma (15.9%), atopic dermatitis (12.3%), and drug hypersensitivity (10.9%).
  • Food allergy was rare (0.9%), and no venom allergy was identified.
  • Bronchiectasis was more frequent in patients with asthma (28.6%) compared to those without (14.4%).
  • Asthma was more prevalent in patients receiving prophylactic antibiotics (34.1% vs. 11.7%).
  • Immediate-type drug hypersensitivity reactions predominated (78.6%), with urticaria and anaphylaxis being most common (21.4% each).
  • 62% of patients with allergic disease were diagnosed with allergy before IEI.
  • Adult-onset asthma was associated with a higher age at IEI diagnosis.
  • Aeroallergen sensitization was linked to higher B cell subset counts.
