- Results showed no significant correlation between SFV use and positive psychological states.
- Significant positive correlations were found between SFV use and negative psychological states, including depression, anxiety, stress, negative affect, loneliness, and boredom.
- Problematic SFV use showed significant negative associations with subjective well-being and positive correlations with adverse mental health outcomes.
- Routine SFV use showed no significant associations with negative affect and a nonsignificant negative correlation with anxiety.
