- Study compares social skills (SS) in adults with late-onset ASD and ADHD.
- Participants: 77 adults (18-59 years) with Total IQ >80, from a private health center in the Valencian Community (2024).
- ADHD group: 38 participants (22 women, mean age 32 ±12.3). ASD group: 39 adults (25 women, mean age 33 ±10.6).
- SS measured using the Social Skills Scale (EHS), with nonparametric Mann-Whitney test comparing medians across six dimensions and global score.
- Significant differences found in all SS scores except EHS III and VI. No gender-based differences observed.
- EHS scale may aid in differential diagnosis between ASD and ADHD in adults.
