Accused gunman Cole Allen sent a 1,052-word manifesto to family members about 10 minutes before the White House Correspondents' Dinner shooting.
Allen, who referred to himself as 'Cole "coldForce" "Friendly Federal Assassin" Allen,' believed it was his duty to target administration officials, describing them as a 'pedophile, rapist, and traitor.'
The manifesto outlined 'rules of engagement,' prioritizing administration officials as targets, while aiming to avoid or minimize harm to others like Secret Service (incapacitate non-lethally), hotel security, and non-targets.
Allen apologized extensively for betraying trust, endangering others, and his actions, but stated he saw no other way to get close to his targets.
