The molecular target of aptamer ss2-2 was identified as neuropilin-2 (NRP2), a transmembrane glycoprotein, validated through knockdown and binding studies.
NRP2 expression was significantly elevated in bladder cancer tissues, correlating with advanced tumor stage, and its knockdown inhibited cancer cell proliferation, migration, and affected key signaling pathways.
