Fastmail announces full offline support for all customers, including apps and web.
Offline support can be enabled in Settings → Offline for iOS, Android, and web browsers.
Initial sync may take time; web browsers need to keep the tab open, while apps sync in the foreground.
Default settings download recent messages and opened messages; attachments are cached only when opened.
Web browser requirements: 'Keep me logged in' must be ticked, modern browser needed, and bookmarking the inbox is recommended.
Offline support can be disabled anytime, deleting the local mail cache.
Most functions work offline, including reading mail, replying, and editing contacts or calendar.
Limitations offline: mail search differences, no snoozed message movement, no calendar reminders, restricted attachment deletion, and no user/domain changes.
