- A seed-assisted dry-gel conversion (SA-DGC) method was developed to synthesize hierarchical nano-ZSM-5 zeolites with high yields (~100%) and crystallinity.
- Protozeolite seeds (≤20 nm) were used without structure-directing agents (SiO2/TPA+ = 30), requiring minimal water (1.0 mL) for crystallization.
- The method enables precursor migration during steaming, forming nano-zeolites (100-200 nm) around seed microregions.
- The hierarchical nano-ZSM-5 zeolites demonstrated superior catalytic performance in Meinwald rearrangement of styrene oxide derivatives compared to conventional ZSM-5.
