Effectiveness of attexis, a digital intervention based on cognitive behavioral therapy for adults with ADHD: a randomized controlled trial - PubMed

- 337 adults with ADHD were randomized to attexis + TAU or TAU alone.
- Primary outcome: ADHD symptom severity at 3 months (T1) showed significant improvement (mean difference = -5.0 points, d = 0.85, p < .001).
- Secondary outcomes (functional impairment, depressive symptoms, self-esteem, quality of life) also improved significantly.
- Effects remained stable at 6-month follow-up (T2).
- Subgroup analyses showed consistent effects across sex, medication use, and psychotherapy status.
- No adverse events related to attexis were reported.
- attexis is a safe, effective, and scalable adjunct to routine ADHD care.
