- 1. A study with 27,903 hyperlipidemic patients from NHANES (1999-2018) found a U-shaped relationship between the systemic immune-inflammation index (SII) and all-cause and cardiovascular mortality.
- 2. Higher SII values were associated with lower survival rates, and each unit increase in lnSII raised all-cause mortality by 19.7% and CVD mortality by 30.1%.
- 3. Thresholds for lnSII were identified at 6.08 and 5.96, with subgroup and sensitivity analyses confirming the reliability of these non-linear associations.
