AT&T FirstNet customers are being incorrectly charged $6,200 for data usage.
A Texas police officer was charged $6,194 for 3.1GB of data despite having unlimited data.
AT&T fixed the issue after the customer contacted the AT&T president’s office.
Another FirstNet user, an active-duty military member, faced a similar $6,196 charge for 3.1GB of data.
AT&T fixed the military member’s bill quickly but did not explain the cause of the error.
Both cases involved charges of $2 per megabyte for data usage.
